ÇBK’LI MARİA ARAUJO: “İYİ OYNARSAK KUPAYI KAZANABİLİRİZ”

FIBA Kadınlar Avrupa Ligi’nde mücadele eden Çukurova Basketbol (ÇBK) Mersin, İspanyol Zaragoza’yı mağlup ederek üst üste ikinci kez adını Dörtlü Final’e yazdırdı. Servet Tazegül Spor Salonu’nda oynanan son maçta galibiyetin mimarlarından olan ÇBK’lı Maria Araujo, ilk kez artıbirspor’a konuştu.

Final Four oynayacakları için çok heyecanlı olduğu söyleyen Araujo, “Sakatlıktan sonra sahaya döndüğüm için çok mutluyum ve FINAL FOUR oynayacağız harika olacak çok heyecanlıyım!” dedi.

Muhteşem bir atmosfer vardı. Mersin taraftarı hakkında neler söylemek istersin?

Bütün Mersin taraftarına destekleri için teşekkür ederim. Atmosfer harikaydı. Eğer bu kadar kişi olmasa kazanmak bizim için zor olurdu. Onlar bizim sahadaki 6’ncı oyuncumuz

Maçta çok iyi bir performans gösterdin. Zaragoza maçı özelinde performansını nasıl değerlendiriyorsun?

Takıma yardımcı olabildiğim çok mutluyum. Daima en iyi oyunumu oynamak için mutluyum. Bazen sayı üreterek, bazen defans ve bazen de ribaundlarla.

Yarı finalde bir Türk takımı olan Fenerbahçe ile karşılaştınız. Çukurova Basketbol Kulübü’nün Final Four’da nasıl bir performans sergilemesini bekliyorsun?

Bence takım olarak iyi bir moment yakaladık Final Four’da gerçekten iyi bir basketbol oynayabiliriz. Fenerbahçe’nin favorilerden birisi olduğunu biliyoruz ama tek maçta herkes kazanabilir. Bunun için hazır olacağız. Türkiye kupasında neredeyse kazanıyorduk. Eğer iyi oynarsak kazanabileceğimizi biliyoruz.

Final Four’da ÇBK dışında sizce hangi takım kupanın sahibi olur?

Takımın bu sene ligdeki gidişatını nasıl değerlendiriyorsun?

Şu an takım olarak her şey için hazırız. Bütün finallerde olmak istiyor ve savaşmak istiyoruz.

Mersin’e alıştın mı?

Evet.

Mersin’de en çok yapmayı sevdiğin aktivite nedir?

Deniz kenarına gidip, kahve içip, kitap okumayı seviyorum.

Takımda en iyi anlaştığın isim kim?

Laura ile daha önce oynadım. Onunla burada tekrardan bulunduğum için mutluyum. Bu sebeple benim için daha kolay oldu ve sürekli Virag Kiss ile beraberiz. Güneşlenmeyi ve kahve içmeyi seviyoruz. Mersin havasında vakit geçirmekten keyif alıyoruz.

Son olarak neler söylemek istersin?

CBK’S MARIA ARAUJO: “IF WE PLAY WELL, WE CAN WIN THE CUP”

Çukurova Basketbol (ÇBK) Mersin, which competes in the FIBA Women’s European League, defeated the Spanish Zaragoza and entered the Quadruple Final for the second time in a row. Maria Araujo from ÇBK, one of the architects of the victory in the last match played at Servet Tazegül Sports Hall, spoke about Sports for the first time.

Araujo said that he was very excited about playing in the Final Four, “I am very happy to be back on the court after my injury, and we will play in the FINAL FOUR. It will be great. I am very excited!” said.

Thank you so much for all the support for all Mersin fans! The atmosphere it was amazing! It’s really hard to win us if we count with our people! They are the 6th player on the court for us!

You did a very good performance in the match. How do you rate his performance in the Zaragoza match specifically?

I’m happy to be able to help the team, I’m always trying my best, some games will be with points other with defense, rebound!

How do you expect Çukurova Basketball to perform in the Final Four?

I think that we are in a good moment like a team and we can play a really good basketball in the final four!

You will play against Fenerbahçe, a Turkish team, in the semi-finals. How do you feel about playing with a team that is one of the favorite teams of the cup and the last champion?

We know fener is one of the favorites but in one game everyone can win so we will be ready for that! We almost bit them in the Turkish cup so we know that we can win if we play good

Which team do you think will win the cup in the Final Four, other than ÇBK?

Prague

How do you evaluate the team’s progress in the league this year?

Now we are the full roster so I think that we are ready for everything, we want to be in all the finals and fight for the tittles!

Do you like Mersin?

Yes, I do

What is your favorite activity to do in Mersin?

I love to go by the sea with a coffee and a book!

Who is the player you get along with best in the team?

I played before with Laura so I’m happy that I’m here again with her, it was so much easier for me because of that! And then I’m always with V, she loves coffee and be at the sun so we are enjoying Mersin weather together!
